SHANE MC CARTHY

I'm a designer based in London, UK with experience in delivering end-to-end UX/UI design for software products and experience in illustration and graphic design. I'm passionate about improving the lives of others through design and am constantly looking to learn new things everyday.

I hold a Professional Diploma in UX Design from UX Design Institute / Glasgow Caledonian University, a Google UX Design Professional Certificate and a BSc Landscape Architecture (Hons) from University College Dublin.

My most recent UX Design experience was with @Snapfix Dublin where I was tasked with the design of the end-to-end experience of a new task reminder feature in a customer-facing CMMS SaaS environment.

Prior to this my professional expertise was based within the Architecture sector, more recently with @HassellStudio in Shanghai where I held a position as a Senior Associate Landscape Architect. I lived and worked, designing in Shanghai for more than 9 years with a number of firms of varying scale and scope.

With over 12 years of design experience collaborating closely with multidisciplinary international teams - design is a huge part of my life and I enjoy working on products end to end, from ideation all the way to development.
